GOT GAS--talk me dddown

I bought my first ES 335 in the original family owned
Sam Ash Music store down in Bed Sty in the early 60s.
I remember when they opined the 2nd store on
Coney Island Ave. and Quenten Rd.
I remember seeing the new store on my way to band
practice and thinking "Oh well. That's the end of that."

About the Marshall Code serious --- this --- directly RIPPED OFF from another forum----but sums it up RATHER well.

I feel like such a thief.
I just purchased a HUGE load of Marshall equipment including the following:

1. JTM45
2. 62 Bluesbreaker
3. 59 Plexi
4. JCM 800 2203
5. JCM 2555 Silver Jubilee
6. JCM 2000 DSL 100
7. JVM 410H
8. 1960 cab
9. 1960 V cab
10. 1960 AX cab
11. 1960 HW cab
12. 1936 cab
13. 1936 V cab
14. 1912 cab
15. 1974 CX cab

Plus a bunch of effects, including delays and reverb.

All for $150 !

None of it is stolen, and it wasn't purchased from a crackhead in need.

Its nice to have all this equipment at my disposal, and Im finally able to A/B different amps and different cabs, and hear the differences side by side!

I did it and so can YOU!

Its called The Marshall Code 20!

nice grab Adrian....you know your a Marshall man. Good for you...

I watched the build up of the code. They advertised, advertised, over sold, delayed delayed and delayed over sold some more. When it first hit the market, there were many tech glitches, but as time went on, the glitches were resolved one at a time. I have talked to many people who absolutely love them, the price being the best attribute. Ive wanted one since its birth.

Plus, it doesn't matter what order you go in....cause eventually you'll have the Marshalls you want. Hell, some you may actually need.

I went in reverse order....started with a jvm hjs head, then needed something smaller so I got a DSL40c, then grabed a solid state mg100, and now im pushing for a code 25.

The MG100 cranked for a solid state....wait a minute.....didn't I.....I think I.....what the....Hey now, I think I gave it to someone. :blink::blink:

YOu did --- and that MG has graced many lives here on the forum--- MINE-- Hackmasters and OWegis!

Can see a desire ----someday-- for a TUBE Marshall :) -- I am such a low watt sorta guy though----the BIG wattage isnt my gig ---

Hack pointed out a 100 WATT tube amp (not Marshall) but a NICE ONE here locally for --- get this ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! --- would love to buy it but damn it--- its not me--- 2 12's and 100 tube watts will never get turned on here.

I can say this the Mrshall bug has bit and bit hard!
I would love one of them little MINI stacks .......er uhm

poop!

Back in 2002, I bought a brand new Marshall MG50 1x12 combo amp just for music students. That has to be one of the quietest amps I've owned. Still has awesome tone too...

Here it is today, in Mom's living room, flanked by the '59 Silvertone and matching '59 Silvertone tube amp...

Actually it does--- it was from my fathers memorial service when he passed-- he was an Army Combat MEdic in Vietnam--one of the guys with just a side arm and medic bag----talk about seeing some poop!
The old man was tough --- nothing phased him--- "hey dad I broke my arm "---NO you didnt its still attached--- get back in and finish the race-----
the flag is a reminder to keep going forward and take the bullshit head on.

The misses has one from her Dad as well --- he was K-9 patrol and bomb sniffing--- both served proud.

thanks for the reminder Sysco been meaning to pick up a proper case for it----- think today is an excellent day to accomplish that.

I'd be glad to build one for you, with a glass top.
Suitable for wall hanging. It's a worthy cause.

Won't cost you a dime, that's why I'm a VFW Auxiliary life member.
I serve veterans, living or passed.

Hack--- I would be honored --- thank you Sir--- sorry I missed this most wonderful offer here earlier in the week.

been crazy ( as you know) these days.

Well the GAS (which is hard to Find in Florida right now) is calmed as the CODE is in DA HOUSE!

its tiny----- its CHOCK FULL--- of yummy tone-age --- and it sounds GREAT (little bastard is LOUD) --

the good -- sounds great easy to navigate --- and looks sexy. ;)
The Marshall Models are very nice--- accurate to real (for instance a 60's Bluesbreaker----I really don F**ng know---I dont OWN a Bluesbreaker to do a side by side) but it sounds damn good.......several (I think 4) models of BB and JVM's and 800's and Stacks and half stacks and cabinet options and and and and ---- yeah

The questionable--- says 10 inch speaker in the ads---- damn sure LOOKS 8" to me---but till I take the back off -- jury still out---

The bad--- cant get the fooking bluetooth to work with my cell phone---- deal breaker? no--- cause I really thought it was a bit of "Millennial b.s." anyway ..... you can adjust all the features as you would WITH THE AP--- you just have to --- get this reach OUT with your ARM and use your hand to TURN A KNOB and PRESS A BUTTON at the same time------ exhausting---I KNOW!

So -- its LOVELY --- it says Marshall it SOUNDS marshall and --- here is some weird poop--- you can sit RIGHT BESIDE THE AMP with a P90 guitar and a setting with heavy distortion.....and NOT have HUM destroy your hearing --- VERY QUIET --- neat (happy) little feature.......

NOW ---- before you ask---- NO -- its a 25 watt amp-- it DOESNT really SOUND like a FULL STACK of Marshalls with a 100 watt tube head DRIVING the sound through your chest --- the wall -- the buick parked on the curb----- it cant it never will---

However the TONE of that Stack ---- if you where say 3 blocks away --- listening with a beer on your front porch--- THAT is the tone lol

IF you listen to RATT lets say --- that TONE -- when listening through the home stereo--- THAT TONE is in there..... not the SOUND when sitting front stage center.....no.....its a modeling amp not a time machine of magic....

So first impressions --- glad to have it--- fun little plinker --- great for getting my HAIR BAND on while not pissing off the hood ---

I give you the CODE----unboxing!

I gotta say its gets my RATT on a ROLL-- but-- the damn cleans--- of the Marshall Models anyway (I dont really care what the others sound like I bought it for the Marshall-ie Marshallness) sound really foogin good!
