Got a bunch of new guitars and amps today.

I've been looking for a cheaper SG so I can flip my expensive Gibson as I know I'll be wanting one of them new Quilter combos to replace my 200 watt head. I found a late 80's Burny SG but the seller only wanted to sell all his stuff or nothing. So...

I got the SG, it's at least as nice as my Gibson.

I got a late 80's Burny Les Paul with very nice finish checking and non original pickups (they might be Seymour Duncans). It needs a new nut, the g slot is cut too deep.

I got an Ibanez R001 from the first half of the 90's with non original tuners. One of the nicest acoustics I've played in a long time.

All came in really nice hardcases, all need new strings and a good cleaning. It looks like they haven't been played in years and there is very little or no fret wear.

I also got a Marshall Valvestate 8080, working but with scratchy pots, and a Squier practice amp.

I intend to flip everything except the SG, unless I keep the Les Paul and sell something else instead. I'm not a fan of LP's but this is kinda nice.

More photos later.

Thats a really cool score! The Burnys are really nice guitars, Gibson in everything but name

Ok, you're forgiven now that I see that you're the proud owner of a Marshall Valvestate 8080. That's enough punishment for anybody. They came with scratchy pots. When you spray them with cleaner, all the jack sockets fall out.

Haha! It will take some elbow grease to get that going. The LP is really nice actually, I have no clue what the pickups are and the neck pickup (although nice sounding) lacks output. Almost as if only one coil is connected.

You (I) can get a complete replacement kit for all the pots for 20€. I don't know the going rate for a Valvestate but I would guess 150€ wouldn't be unthinkable?
