Gorgeous Godins

This is my Session in Blackburst, this is my very first Godin guitar, purchased new in 2015. Just an all around player always enjoy playing it. If you want a very good playing Strat that's high quality and will last for years to come, but don't want to break the bank, this is for you.

HaHaHa not me, but my Wife does, she has been known to read on occasion. But most of the time she is listening to me play guitar in my mancave. Not to sure which one she prefers doing the most.:D:D

Isn't this Yummy.

I recently played a new Gibson LP Junior back to back with a Godin Summit Classic SG (single P90) at my local Long and McQuade and I have to say that I liked the feel and playability of the Godin better than the Gibby. The Godin is $649CDN versus $1550 for the Gibson!

Thanks for that! If there’s a six string Godin in my future, it’s that one.

I'm still digging my Godin Belmont guitar which has great tones from all the Seymour Duncan pick ups. I really like the Duncan '59 in the bridge position for a great Gibson type of tone since the body is made of mahogany including the neck with rosewood FB. The Gibson scale length also contributes to the Gibson sound that this guitar has. And one thing for sure this guitar is pretty heavy...heavier than my Les Paul guitar. I'm very happy with all the tones and sounds I can get out of this lovely axe. It's a kind of guitar that doesn't really need any modding. Maybe a series/parallel split switch for the bridge for extra tone options but I'm very satisfied with the current set-up. One thing I really like about this guitar is it's retro vibe which really captures the spirit of guitars back in the 1950's/60's but has it's own unique and quirky shape and design. I'll have to say that I think all Godin guitars are really worth checking out and I like all their current models.
