Girl In A Guitar Store.........

Some of us are such lucky guys with our women. Jethro. It seems you got a keeper.

Mine has never once made an issue of any of my musical purchases. Despite her decent income and my near non existent one, I am fairly sure she is happy to see me happy as I have surrounded myself with a number of awesome instruments, drums, guitars, basses, and even my sweet $50 Banjo.

Can't argue with that. Sure hope ALL of us and ZZZZ have our ladies and men who feel and act the same.

My Wife has always been supportive in the hobbies i like R/C Planes , guitars and gear, cars, Suv's

Oh yeah they are good for snow.
The rear engine puts the weight right on top of the drive wheels.
It's designed in Germany where it snows like hell.

I know this, BUT look at that one, Too much glass, windshield that opens at the bottom, canvas roof, low slung stance. It looks like it would barely go in anything over 4 inches. Also, I used to have friends who were mechanics on those early busses. They even mentioned that some had to have propane or kerosene type heat in them. In my snow driving experiences, properly heated defrosting windows is critical to safe snow driving,

No worries. The VW stays inside. Guitars, cafe, games, occasional celebrity visitors, cute guitar players. Why would I leave? I can watch the snow out the windows. ;)

NO, but I grew up shopping with my mom in the late 60's and early 70's. Her shopping trips seemed to take forever
My Grand Mother and Mother could shop for a full day --- I was so glad when I was able to start staying at the house with Dad and Grandpa (about the time my littls sister came along lol ) the girls went to the mall and the guys stayed home and watched football. .........I do remeber the trips with them to the Mall though women do a style of shopping I call "grazing" ......... because they roam around in a herd like cattle --- testing every bail of "hay" in the store-- touching every blouse holding up every pair of shoes (eve one OBVIOUSLY not their size or style) and looking at them .....
crazy
Man goes to the store like a military maneuver.... attack at dawn ... move swiftly speakl to know one SNATCH N GRAB and run --- the shorter the visit the better!!! (at least that is me-- Ive been know to go to walmart at 6 am to
A., avoid crowds
B. get it DONE as fast as possible and get out

I do my shopping the same way, except for my local guitar shop. I go for 2 -3 hours play guitars , try out amps and see all the new gear they have . Talk about gear stuff.:)

Oh yeah, and despite my lack of funds to actually buy anything when or if I do go shopping, I also do not like walking around a store with a mask on for an indeterminate amount of time. Therefore I am in and out fast anytime I go shop for anything. Milk, Meat, Fruit, Veggies, Screws, saw parts, tools, etc.

It definitely jacks me up to not be comfortable in a store while hunting for necessary equipment or materials.

Well, that's the same here Mitch, i haven't been either since the pandemic . The store was only open for curbside pickup or mail order. And even if the store had of been open, i would not go until things get to where it is safe to do so..;)
I look at what I want ahead, order it if need be and pick it up knowing I can return it. I never try stuff in store.
Speaking of, i need to order some things tomorrow. Also speaking of wood.....this gives me some!!
