That is a sexy bitch! You should name her Mandy... It's kinda sexy and kinda Barry Manilow!View attachment 76688Ramo does this look like I’m ready to play slow? Granted it’s not going to be ramming speed (or should I say “Ramo” speed haha I crack me up!)
But I’ll try to make up for the lack of speed with some heavy riffs.
I took the pic next to the painting @Headache loves so much.
I just finished slapping some strings on it to handle drop tuning. Now I’m just waiting for a righteous strap from the the VooDoo man.
As for a Tele … you hate them so much, I bet you secretly want one and you are just ashamed to say so.
Sort of like having a secret stash of Barry Manilow records.
… WHY BARRY MANILOW!!!

You want to be called mrs? LoLwho you callin' a Mr., mister?

Excellent!I meant to post this here today, but used it to cause GAS (or maybe anti-GAS) for @eSGEe yesterday.
First off, are NGD announcements allowed in Friday Nite Riffz?
Also, is wheedly-wheedly welcome, or are we limited to riffz and riffz only?
Will youse look down on me if I don't drop low, or forget to make chugga-chugga and like ten strokes to the second?
Let me know, anyway, she's friday nite, and for me that means HAMER-TIME

No, not Hammer time, HAMER time
You are due to a video and if it isn’t fast Im not interested… Just sayin….Excellent!
Love seeing people have fun while they play.
But what if I’m in a Barry Manilow phase right now?You are due to a video and if it isn’t fast Im not interested… Just sayin….
I leave rest up to you![]()
Nope. But what if I’m in a Barry Manilow phase right now?
I guess I could try and make a metal version of copacabana.
Ok. I’m all for a better world.Nope.
Just…..
No.
Please do not.
The world will be a better place.
Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!Ok. I’m all for a better world.
But you know deep deep DEEP in your mind, that morbid curiosity of how that would sound is playing in your head.
Ramo did challenge me to do a heavy version of a Gordon Lightfoot song…… so why not something by Barry Manilow. It could be fun. We could be starting a whole new genre. But what if I’m in a Barry Manilow phase right now?

The Katanas are just such a great bang for the buck amp. Wish they had those when I first started playing instead of the old Crate G10 crap pile I had for a practice amp. Killer riffing, as always! The little katana 50 sounds pretty good in my phone mic!
Everyday can too be Saturday. You just have to be older than dirt and retired.I used to tell my boss that all the time, but he said not everyday can be Saturday.
I really like how eerie it sounds. Where do you get the background wind effect? The Katanas are just such a great bang for the buck amp. Wish they had those when I first started playing instead of the old Crate G10 crap pile I had for a practice amp. Killer riffing, as always!
I picked up a new to me project guitar this week so I could dabble in single coil land to have some contrast for my songwriting. A 1998 Hamer Slammer. So, I started this thing as just a tone test to hear the difference in the 5 different selector positions and before long I'd used all 6 of my guitars and 2 of my 3 basses and had something of a song.

It's insanely fast, so I know Ram is going to absolutely love it. I think it gets all the way up to 60bpm at one point...
There is an entire you tube channel on mashups like that. I posted it elsewhere.Ramo did challenge me to do a heavy version of a Gordon Lightfoot song…… so why not something by Barry Manilow. It could be fun. We could be starting a whole new genre.
Come on. You know you want to.
Don’t remember, but I get a lot from Freesound - Freesound, so most likely there.I really like how eerie it sounds. Where do you get the background wind effect?
Group called Headstones does the Edmund Fitzgerald. It’s actually pretty good…. And not folksy like Gordon Lightfoot doing it.There is an entire you tube channel on mashups like that. I posted it elsewhere.
