FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

Here is my very slow playing Jackson to help redeem myself and lessen the shortcomings I have shown in my playing.
I got it out before class started this afternoon. The little katana 50 sounds pretty good in my phone mic!

If you don’t play as fast as lightning ,, you are slow.. I know because I am slow and slower , along with sloppy
Good day and @ headache
Your riffs are fascinating, I like them all and I am not a lightning fast player ever..
Cheers

Thanks a bunch Mitch! You're always so nice to everyone.

Truth is, I like heavy riffs, whether it's fast or slow or anywhere in between.

I also like the whole razzin each other around here, we all seem to take it pretty well without getting our feelings hurt.
Just regular guys hanging out and talking guitar is a great place for me to be.
I think every single one of you guys is a better player than I am, and that's okay by me. I just play because I like to.

This where someone starts throwing out lyrics from “He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother,” ????? Asking for a friend.
For today's Friday Night Riffs trivia that no one really cares about, but I'm gonna share anyway......

"He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother." Written by Bobby Smith and Bob Russell. Originally recorded by Kelly Gordon in 1969. Made famous by The Hollies when they released it in 1970. Song has been covered by over 80 artists thru the years.... not including any Garage Bands and local solo artists.
  • Neil Diamond
  • Bobby Goldsboro
  • Glen Campbell
  • Andy Williams
  • Gladys Night
  • Olivia Newton John
  • Barry Manilow
  • Many many more

Now..... don't you feel better about yourself knowing this?? :dood:

See, this is the headache I like…. Not slow ping pong chug chig lp riffing….
Bring me violent fast riffs, remember… we play metal, it must be fast….. really fast… did I mention fast? I think I didn’t… I’ll mention it just in case
,SPEED….. we urgently need speed…

Don’t get infected with TTR slow playing viruses….

Now,we are back in business and please stay in business. :)
@LiveeviL2000
At last someone agrees with me on them ugly radio caster that look like they were born in Chernobyl and radiation made them so ugly that it became uglier than toilet seat.

1B6D7E91-AE6E-4657-9D73-8CD2E65DAA53.jpegRamo does this look like I’m ready to play slow? Granted it’s not going to be ramming speed (or should I say “Ramo” speed haha I crack me up!)
But I’ll try to make up for the lack of speed with some heavy riffs.
I took the pic next to the painting @Headache loves so much.
I just finished slapping some strings on it to handle drop tuning. Now I’m just waiting for a righteous strap from the the VooDoo man.

As for a Tele … you hate them so much, I bet you secretly want one and you are just ashamed to say so.
Sort of like having a secret stash of Barry Manilow records.

… WHY BARRY MANILOW!!!
