Aside from rock biographies and related books, I also read a lot of old sci-fi stuff.
We have a lot of books by:
Ray Bradbury
Michael Moorcock
Aldous Huxley
Robert Orwell
Robert Heinlein
Tolkien
and a few others slipping my mind.
I have a ton of rock stuff starting with Skydog on the top shelf, working it's way to Ronnie Wood on the fourth shelf. Also love gear stuff or picture biography type stuff. The Entwistle "Bass Culture" book, Gibbons "Rock +Roll Gearhead", Johnny Marr "Marr's Guitars", any of the Motorhead books, Radio Birdman "When Birdmen Flew", and Thin Lizzy "A Visual Biography" were all worth every penny I spent on them. Still would like to get the Geddy Lee book.
