For all book readers: This is your thread.

Aside from rock biographies and related books, I also read a lot of old sci-fi stuff.

We have a lot of books by:
Ray Bradbury
Michael Moorcock
Aldous Huxley
Robert Orwell
Robert Heinlein
Tolkien
and a few others slipping my mind.

I have a ton of rock stuff starting with Skydog on the top shelf, working it's way to Ronnie Wood on the fourth shelf. Also love gear stuff or picture biography type stuff. The Entwistle "Bass Culture" book, Gibbons "Rock +Roll Gearhead", Johnny Marr "Marr's Guitars", any of the Motorhead books, Radio Birdman "When Birdmen Flew", and Thin Lizzy "A Visual Biography" were all worth every penny I spent on them. Still would like to get the Geddy Lee book.

John Cleese!

I should add a book series by author R A Salvatore. About 30 books and counting in a series about a dark elf named Drizzt. If you like D & D themes and LOTRs. You’d probably like this series as well.

Which John Cleese?
He has 107 books listed.
Although I could start reading them all I suppose. Sounds like something I would do.
His autobiography. The title is “So, Anyway…”

It’s in the top row, blue spine with yellow lettering. Between “Birth of Loud” and “Idiot.”

I read Birth of Loud about 2 years ago. A good read about the early days of Leo and Les Paul.

I started listening to Jimmy Buffett music 10 years or so ago. Recently figured out he's also authored a bunch of books. I may be checking out some of those here in the future.

I’ll just paste it here then

I tried to find a thread about what people are reading and couldn’t find one.
So here goes, blasting through “ Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir, really good, author of the Martian.
Kind of gave up , after reading 77% of it, on Never Flinch from Stephen King. I hadn’t read any Stephen King in a long time and decided to read his latest after reading he was the most banned author in the US., This book is slowwwwww.

I also have another book going, “ With Saw, Plane & Chisel, how to build Historic American Furniture With Hand Tools” which is one of my other hobbies.

What have you got?

Excellent! We share a common guilty pleasure. I'll definitely check out Michael Robotham books! (y)

@Far Rider mentioned Tom Clancy. I haven't read him yet.

I've always been an avid reader. When Covid hit, my book reading habit got kicked into high gear. All gas pedal....no brakes.

I have read every book written by the following list of authors.
Clive Cussler (RIP)
Nelson DeMille (RIP)
Vince Flynn (RIP)
Dan Brown
James Rollins
Stephen Hunter
Ted Bell
Michael Connelly
Steve Berry
Stuart Woods (RIP)
Dale Brown
Patrick Lee
Harlan Coben
Mark Greaney
Eric Clapton
Gregg Allman (RIP)
Except the last 2 and Patrick Lee , that’s a big part of my reading list

I’m in the middle of All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr, which is turning into quite an intense read.
Breathtaking. That’s the kind of novel the word “riveting” was coined for, and I’m not much of a novel guy.

I love good short stories, and the books lying around indicate that I’m reading stories by Joyce Carol Oates, T.C. Boyle, and Steven Milhauser. I wanna get Margaret Atwood’s memoir before too long.
