Wow. I used to live in Fort Wayne, IN and the fireworks sitch was awful there, but nothing like you’re suffering.

Fireworks aren’t legal to sell in Illinois. Also illegal to use in Illinois. Not enforced. Issue living so close to WI. Sales of fireworks are legal there. 30 minute jump into WI. Make purchase. Home before coffee break at 10.
