Expresso Love

I also like it with grappa, an almond biscotti, and some chocolate. A glass of prosecco as an aperitif is always nice to cleanse the palate.
 
I'm actually German, but growing up in the Boston area I've spent a lot of time with Italian friends and their families. Also been to Toscana, Venezia, and Scicilia several times. During a visit to Piombino I truly learned to sit down, slow down and relax, and just watch the world go by with an espresso, some tiramisu, and some prosecco. I could easily retire in Italy.
 
Beautiful! I've never been, so I've had to experience Italy vicariously through travelogues.

In any event, the pleasures of espresso corretto and any variety of pastry, aperitivo and digestivo is always good to share with a fellow devotee. :)
