EVH DEAD of CANCER Today RIP ED

I wasn't particularly fond of the synth-era VH, although it was very radio friendly.

It was a fun experience, but the light never really "came on" for me, as I was listening. I would say "Runnin With The Devil" and "Ain't Talkin Bout Love" were my favorites.

What i was hoping for - and expecting - was for a VH song to "grab me" the way Dio's "Last In Line" did.

Robert, for me, yup, it was Runnin that caught my ear first. Especially Anthony's bass and Ed's chimey above the nut high pitched strum that sounds like breaking glass.

Later on VH1 album,,,,,,,,,,,,, I really liked the whole album, But some that stuck out for me were Atomic Punk, Jamie's Cryin, Little Dreamer, HAHA and one I am sure will kill Robert's ears., ON FIRE!!!

Another part I liked about VH was the FUN Factor.

I mean how can a hormone filled teenage boy not help but like songs about their teachers ( the hot ones)
Or Saving WOMEN? This song flat out displays a shid ton of Eddies skill. I mean he may have blistering taps and dive bombs, etc, but check out the freaking rhythm in this song too.

My buddy Delfin and I used to get into some very intense (good natured arguments)
RR / EVH
I was a big RR fan, Delfin EVH.
And we always had a good discussion.
The day Eddie died, I came home from work, the local rock station had been playing VH songs all day. So I just sat and listened to the radio, all night.
So I am sad that he is no longer with us, when the first album came out, Eddie was doing the things we had in our minds, but where just not being executed.
R.I.P.
Eddie.
Cheers
Mitch

Bet Not too many have heard Eddie sound like the opening to this song.

Mitch, I read one comment in one of the clips I posted above. It said, don't be sad at Eddie's death, Be happy that he lived.
