Ever have one of those guitars you love but drives you up the wall? Like a sports car that’s hell of a lot of fun to drive but keeps needing to go back to the shop?
This would be my Jackson Dinky. A few days ago everything was just fine, played like a champ, no issues. Today I find out that it doesn’t want to work, so I figured “ok must of left the battery in that one time I accidentally left it plugged in an entire day” and switched out the battery. Still nothing, tried another battery, nothing. Plugged my V in and it roars. Plug the Jackson back in and there’s the crackle of the cable going into the jack, some sort of percussive noise when I rock the blade switch between positions but no output when from the strings...
More of a rant than anything but this axe is driving me crazy... second time I’ll have to take it back to the shop but I have a strange feeling the pickups are what’s messed up and may need to contact EMG directly.
