Well, I gave them a shot. Left them on the Blueberry for a month. Just changed back to NYXL's.View attachment 70116
Damn you. Trying to remember which Gibson has the oldest strings...
Observations:
They feel fine and bend fine, but the wound strings were making my fingertips a little hot. Must be a little rougher surface than the NYXL.
They stay in tune as well as the NYXL. No better or worse.
They come with extra strings. I didn't break any. I very rarely do.
They are more trebly and nasal sounding whereas the NYXL are more balanced. This was a complete deal breaker for me. I just couldn't get used to the sound. They really sucked when I was playing my 1987 head which is bright anyway. I will save them in case I get a dark sounding guitar. Maybe I'll try them in the Strat when I get it back together.
