You can if you match impedanceOk, so never drive a cab with the internal speaker in play????

16 ohms and 16 ohms = 8 ohms, you plug them both into the 8ohm jacks
Okay you can’t use the internal speaker because it’s 16 ohms and set your cab to 8 ohm stereo and plug it into the 8 ohm jack

This.
You kind of have me stumped there Robert, because I don’t know how those switchable jacks work, I have never had them , but what I know is that 1 speaker cable from 8 ohms out to one 8 ohms in on your cab is what you want.
It will probably (most definitely) scream with the dsl40c, just make sure you unhook the internal speaker.I've only used this cabinet once in the past 5 years - live at Mojave Wasteland Weekend 2018 - and I ran it with Line 6 HD75 with one cable into one of the 8ohm jacks... and it worked great in that capacity... but I've never driven it with the DSL40C.

Ok poop I learn something every day, as my first post on this matter says, I am stumped, glad Robert didn’t melt the amp, don’t like them stereo cabs I tell ya.That will run only two of the 4 speakers. To use all 4 you will need to run two cables, one from each 8-ohm output to one of the 2 8-ohm inputs. Looks like if you run a single cable to one of the mono inputs you will be at 4 ohms, which equals

Why wouldn't it drive a 4x12? Ain't that much less than a DSL50, more power than an AC30? And it wouldn't be hard to make a head out of it. All you have to do is match ohms on the output section. My DSL20HR I can't use my 2 Celestion 8ohm's unless I use only 1. So I moved them to the TSA, that thing can take anything! Thinking about greenbacks though.Mission Engineering makes a kit to turn the DSL40C into a head.
I need to get another DSL40C....
Make it into a head and turn the cab into a 1x12 for rehearsals...
Would the DSL40C reliably drive my 200 watt Jackson 4x12???
It has different ohm ratings printed on the back depending on whether or not you are going stereo or mono...
What ohms rating would be easiest on the amp when pushing it hard???

That is an 82' 4210 combo converted into a head.
Doesn't your DSL manual cover these scenarios? Two 8Ω Outs on the amps - Two 8Ω Inputs on the cabinet - Run two cables, connecting BOTH outputs to both inputs???
Or???

I just got home from working, and have fired up the grill...I couldn’t look up the manual for Robert’s amp for him any sooner today.Nice Bastard I was going to look that up but company showed up. I wish the DSL was set up that way but it's the opposite for the 20H. It runs 1 or 2 16ohm or 1 8ohm.
