I'm not very fond of Wilkinson parts.
Would any of these Gotoh products work for you: Guitar Bridges & Tailpieces | G-GOTOH Ltd.
Would it be possible to get a metal workshop to just cut the top half off - very quick and cheap? (Like JG did?)

I have had good results in the past with both Gotoh and Wilkinson parts. I have two things working against me though. 1. Gotoh doesn't make a half bridge, and 2. my ocd won't let me modify a full bridge. Can't get around number 2 no matter how hard I try.

Had a pair of dream 180s in my LTD viper, good pups but they didn't bond with the guitar. Changed em out for a set of alnico 2 classics and voila! Tone Nirvana! Bet that surf 90 sounds amazing in that sweet hunk of mahogany! What do you have in the bridge?

Take a look at the tnt custom site(just Google Dragonfire pickups). They have an a2 bucker that clocks in around 16k.frankly its a little dark---- I need to UPGRADE the bridge -- the neck RIPS HEADS -- but.................. I need a larger ball sack for the bridge
