Doublecut tele project

Submitted for your approval: one swamp Ash tele doublecut body, a tung oiled Harley Benton tele neck, a gfs mean 90 bridge pickup and a gfs surf 90 for the neck position. Reversed control layout. Planning on a Wilkinson tele half bridge. The pic is a mock-up. What do you think?

Looks like an early Epiphone Wilshire, but with a Tele neck.

Kinda does, doesn't it! Here's the weird part. Both pups are bridge models, so...no hum cancellation. I'm going to attempt a dummy coil to buck da buzz. Kinda excited about it.

I tried that on a Tele for about a couple weeks and did not like it. My strumming is a little heavy handed and I kept hitting the volume knob hard enough to cause it to turn and mess with the volume.

The only sad thing is lack of funds to finish it. But, tax time is just around the corner! Patience, must have patience...

The thumb fingered way I play keeps my picking hand towards the neck pup, so the new layout should work ok for me.

Wilkinson tele half bridge. It's the only thing I can find that will work.

I just noticed John, he is looking for a half Bridge. I don't think Graphtec has half Bridges.

I just checked fretless, I don't see anything there what your lookin g for, but they make top quality hardware.

Unfortunately, they don't make a fender-fit bridge. If I ever build a Les Paul Jr, I'm getting one!

I have 2 Resomax Bridges that came on two of my Godin guitars, the sustain is great, both wraparounds, they are known for high quality.
