No,one should do actual gigs with 1 guitar, anything can happen.
And a spare amp, cords, wireless, batteries...Always take 2 guitars to practice and gigs.
I use a double gig bag.
Yep…always had a backup…two guitarists in my band…always brought a spare head. My Tiny Terror was an excellent fill-in for that duty. It could be plugged in to whatever, was loud enough, and pretty darned easy on the back at 2:30am…And a spare amp, cords, wireless, batteries...
