Does anybody else make their own backing tracks?

i wish i could make my own ones. is there a program to make them like guitar pro or there is other way other than recording instruments?
If there is, I couldn't afford to buy it. I use a MIDI sequencer to play the bits I can't, or am not very good at. You still have to put every note in, either using a controller or on the staff or piano roll.

There is Ireal Pro that does a pretty good job of creating backing tracks for you if you only tell it which chords you want.

Otherwise a DAW, a guitar, a bass and MIDI drums will get you there.

You know, if you put all those widdles together and followed the tune, you'd have something nice there.
Yeah that was my feeling but I couldn't muster the energy to make it come together. I've been so tired lately, I really need that vacation now, only 2.5 weeks to go and I'm there!
