I think he was just passing through. I had the demo ed wood hauled away last week and he was not around. I did buy a BB pistol to scare them away in the future.

Got the flooring framed in for the guitar case and gear storage room. This is just outside the studio. Plan on insulating and getting the plywood floor in today.

Floor insulated with R30 and 3/4” plywood floor installed today. Hope to get the west wall built tomorrow.

Coming along very nicely. It will be quite amazing to be sitting in that incredible space and having the satisfaction of having placed every board and nail around, under and over you!

Got the west and north wall framed and insulated. The contractor got the the beginning of the stairs framed in.

Also had the hat channel and insulation clips for the studio ceiling delivered today.

The gear storage room is done and ready for drywall. That will be delivered next Friday. Gonna install the studio outside door tomorrow.

Got the studio outer door hung today. The contractors are making progress on the staircase too.

Stairway to Studio

The stairway from the garage (soon to be mud room) down to the basement and hence studio was finished today . I can now walk down there without having to go outside. This is a major improvement to the house. Also had 50 2x6s and a bunch of drywall delivered today. This is for building the mud room and finishing the gear storage room so I can move my gear from on top the upstairs closets to where I can actually play with them !
