Oh yea, definitely. A dean mustain guitar i played on years ago had them and i really liked them, not as much as the EMG 57/66 setup i have in my epiphone V but they did the job and i wouldn't swap em out. Just feels wrong for them to be in anything other than a dave mustain guitar.

Get fishy pick ups they are modern active pick ups.


I like active but its pain in the ass to record with minimal noises.

pup thats in it does very well... not sure what it is -- have some new strings on the wayt -- when they get here I will change them -- check the pup give it a real good look about and report back the findings. -- its very nice and all but I am having a very hard time putting down the LPJ these days ....loves me them 61 zebras

that does make sense....... however I have several Gibsons that are TRULY AMAZING.... I bash the "G" -- mostly because I like to and oft times they ask for it--- but damn it man -- WHEN THEY GET IT RIGHT ---- there truly is NOTHING like it

I had several "V"s previously -- none stuck --
this was very nice.......... but to tame


this new black beastie is more.... well............dirty.....the one above was pristine ... like new -- etc.... the black one is --well dirty dinged... wore in ... slightly damaged....and modified .........................................way more my "style" lol
