met with the cat that did my hand surgery today. after i gushed with thanks, i found out the facts. the good news is i have 4 fingers... bad news is 3 of the 4 are stitched more than a quilt. the one that the bone was severed has 2 steel pins in it, and the thumb is gone from below the middle...
