The Martin I have : was free. It was so messed up, it cannot be played by anyone.
 
True, and a good deal of good music was composed while in altered states to great effect. This actually applies to many different forms of art as well.

Heroin is a nasty thing, it must be completely miserable to be dependant on it, but that doesn't mean that those people don't have any art in them, or that they have nothing valuable to say.

Back before both Pearl Jam made it big and Nirvana got Dave Grohl, my friend Jim from Boston's "The Bags" was asked to play for both bands. He turned them down because he didn't like their demos that he got, and the Bags were ready to go from Stanton Park Records to a major label. Unfortunately, the bass player had to quit and take over the family business.

A weird thing to say. We praise the person and what they accomplish, not the addiction. Heroin is a bitch of a drug and heroin addiction is an ugly thing but the addicts are human beings, each with their own story of how they got there and I'm not going to judge anyone.

I'm going to judge Heroin Addicts:
I know a Heroin addict. He is a great guitar player.
But, his brain has turned into canned fruit salad. His body is a walking skeleton.

It is wrong to make people believe that Heroine makes anybody a better player or song writer, singer, or anything else.

You are sending the wrong message. It's a bad idea.

Some teenager is going to think that Heroin will make them into a rock star.

You completely fail to see the point. In no way am I saying that heroin makes people better at anything. I'm saying that we should keep people and their accomplishments separate from their addictions.
 
Nobody implied that heroin use makes them better.

Glorify the art, not the poor choices. We all make less than stellar choices at some point in our lives. I have been guilty of kicking myself in the teeth more than once lol

I don't look at Van Gogh paintings and think to myself, "wow, what a scumbag, drinking absinthe all the time like that...that guy had problems, therefore his art is worthless and ugly" lol
 
Have been involved with non profit & recovery Org's for quite awhile....anybody is worth helping bar none !! Most our gigs are based on some sort of gathering to work with people

whether we are raising money for Domestic Violence shelters..recovery houses ... or having benefits to help families.. we held a concert 2011 cause a neighbor OD'd on heroin & gave the mom the money for the funeral.. the family had nothing but heartache all their lives .. no freaking way was there going to be negativety attached to somebody's son...brother..uncle..he was human being..we all are..

what if everybody would of gave up on me ?

thats only 1/8th of a Martin --- 1 million is as HIGH as I will go ...........
I will send you a check...........via courier--- the courier will pick up this Martin ....and deliver it to a trucking company --- who ship it to my warehouses.........
please package it accordingly

OH AND KEEP IT AWAY FROM YOUR BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
