Celebrating Father's Day

Father and son lounging, love this geezer so much.View attachment 69307
I would like to say this now:

@Ramo and I have had many a private talk, but this needs to be public, sorry bruva.

Ramo is an excellent father, we would all be very fortunate to be raised by such a compassionate and empathetic man. He has taken all the bad things dealt to him, and turned them positive, so Mr. Sandro can see how a true man behaves. He just doesn't tell Sandro what to do, he lives his example real life style.

There's no doubt that when that young man has a family of his own, he will be a great father himself. All due to the example that his father has set for him.

I count myself to be so lucky to be able to call him my friend, I always tease Ramo to tell Sandro his Uncle across the pond says Hi!

Happy Fathers Day Ramo, you have it figured out.

Peace
Steve

My dad passed several years ago but he was a workaholic so other than working with him we didn't have much father and son time at all.
I'll share a awesome story with you that happened to me yesterday.

My son and his family lives in Texas and they made a surprise trip to Idaho but I only got to see him and his family for only one day. I was kind of upset because they stayed at his mom's for several days in Boise which is only a hour and a half from me. It's been four years since I've seen him and my grand daughters.

Then he gave me some news...
They are moving back to Idaho in two weeks and he gave me a plane ticket to fly to Houston and drive one of the U-hauls back to Idaho...YESSSSS

My fishing partner is coming back to town.... HAPPYS FATHER DAY.

Wow, thank you.
I believe each generation learns something from from previous generation what not to do and what to do.

He has said many times that he loves me and I am best father to him and thats the best satisfaction to me knowing Im doing something right.

thanks once again and happy fathers day to you bro!

Better than winning the Lottery.

Congratulations, that's an O.K. Fathers Day present huh?

How cool for your family!

Happy Father's Day everyone!

My parents split when I was 4. Childhood was pretty rough with mom never finding Mr. Right; several Mr. Wrongs instead.

Dad had visitation and saw us pretty regularly, ebb and flowed, when we were little.
Didnt see him much through teen years. Part my fault too looking back.

I lived with him the first year when I was attending Engineering college.
We had a falling out and I never went back there or to finish school. Biggest regrets of my life.

Later in life we got to talking again a few times a year; I'm in NJ, he Colorado.
I saw him a few times here when the my kids were little; they are grown now.
We are closer now; wish I could and would have spent more time with him.
