Carve top

I'm up to 5 thin coats. I do bring it up stairs to dry with the furnace running its ready for 1coat per night. I've also been using the brown paper bag to sand, very fine but effective and the coats stay shiney 'er tha N with 0000 steel wool.

That's really beautiful. One question though: In the earlier pix in this thread, the neck being fitted clearly has a rosewood fingerboard. This guitar looks to have a maple fingerboard. What am I missing?

It's neither. Is it in fact Pao Ferro that has not been oiled yet

Very very nice, Glenn. Personally, I'm not digging the looks of those knobs. The guitar has this beautiful and unique vibe to it, but the knobs look like they were borrowed from something else.
