So far all I have to go on is @SG John and his ability to fix my innards with nothing more than his machinist tools and send my appendix into orbit.

I have a question.
Lets say, I dont have a high tolerance for pain.
Without causing blunt force head trauma (I know all of you too well it's the first thing you all thought of), what would each of you do to try and deaden the pain from this field triage?
I have a nice liquor stash of small batch German Schnapps(no peppermint) that I’ve collected. Some will have you speaking in tongues or seeing things. Could also use that for sterilization.

Wow!

@SG John is gonna send my appendix into orbit?

Awesome!

But, yeah...I didn't think about the pain thing.

So, essentially, your solution for an anaesthetic is Cold Gin time again?

Normally, I am not a drinker, but I'd definitely make an exception for appendix removal!

My “go to” gin. I’m told if you drink enough, it’s just as good of a hallucinogenic as Jägermeister.

I'm voting SG because it appears he appreciates the gravity of the situation.

Or, lack there of?

:pound-hand:

I declare @SG John the Bro-Winner!
9-2 after 24 hours!

JTCNJ is gonna log in and go, WTF???? At least I tried to present his case for him a little bit, and he didn't get skunked.
As we all know, a huge part of being a bro, is being present for your bros. He was not.

So @SG John what have you got on the ISS? It's just too cool.
I made several frames that electronic equipment is attached to, and the inserted into larger components. And a bunch of other odds and ends. When working on stuff like that, you never really know what you're making and what it's for. Just like when I was making stuff that Had to be on the space shuttle launch in two days, and could not be screwed up. I never knew what that stuff was for.

Last weekend I was visiting one of my best friends in Minneapolis. He is retired from NASA and we were discussing different work stuff. He showed me a couple of thing he made for the ISS, and my wife was kind of amazed that she was sitting with two people who have made components for the ISS. It's a small group of people in the grand scheme of things, I guess.

Very cool!
I knew a dude that made an experiment that went aboard a Japanese Mars probe. Theyburned too much fuel doing course corrections and missed Mars but after 4 years his experiment worked perfectly. No direct 6 month flight it was twice around Venus and Earth to build speed.
