Brian Ray--- not May

i cheat on my gear way too much to commit to a pool shape... could see the SG tho..that would look wicked from up above......

did finish up the Gibson iso room ..only Gibson or Orville gets in there....everything else is everywhere..gave one a guitar to my son n law the other day...

Love how his NEW SIGNATURE SG JR -- has ( hey @Hackmaster )--- a DUMMY COIL --- to keep it quiet--
IMAGINE THAT!?!?!?!?!?! ;)

my "crappy" low end Gibson SGJ has one of them too --- nice and quiet ;)

hollow body -------

how much the BR SGJ's go for????
4 grand --"ish" -- -dang thats a lotta a scxratch for a QUIET P90

my #1... 61 alnico run the edge of break like nothing i have ever experienced...the maple neck & its a full rounder profile just pops this thing in a mix..it has gone on top of anything & evrything....people laugh at me & this guitar....give me a cord & a BUG 22 & send me off to the studio...Buttercup also gets all the bass workRUIN load (2).jpg

TBTH I dont know WTF it has but it is a hollow P90 that mkes NO NOISE no hum -- its quiet as a church mouse -- I ASS-ume it has some sort of dumy coil I mean how else would this be achieved in a full on hollow body?
other hollow bodies Ive owned (even with HUMBUCKERS) had SOME noise--

The guitar that I regret letting go more than any other in my life (and I am counting some very desirable pieces in that equation) is my SGJ. That guitar had "something" that nothing else did and I would love to find another.

cool..the Specials & jr's just seem to make you play...honestly. think they feel better...no finish...even that 60's Lp i just got is matte finish...the Edwards is matte..the SGJ with the maple neck is a very snappy sound...can nail Billy Gibbons so easy ..all that lil squels & stuff he does...on the LPJ more so than any other guitar....am looking for a p90 SG,,,so scared to break my 2 up tho..the 490/490 & 61 alnico's are such a 1-2 punch for leads...the darker & the brighter..they actually sit on each other without changing amps settings...

Honestly I have no idea--

Scale length really doesnt make that much difference to me and has never been a factor in weather I liked and bought a guitar --
T-15s are 23.5
T-40 is 34
and they have things that run the gambit in between---

Peavey has so many models-- its hard to keep track

I think the Tracer series is 24.75
