Birds Incoming!!

@RobV !!
Nice to hear from you again.
Hope things are 5x5 your way.
Yep just been busy working and working on house and helping my daughter so I really haven't been playing, but slowing down now that the holidays are over and work settling.

That grain looks great. That electronics cavity looks like a dump trunk could fit in there.

Ray, Smitty has some good experience wiring up controls from simple to extra goodies for added versatility. He made some good ideas happen in his Jackson
Smitty does great work based on great ideas. I have also done the long menu of switches and tones. However, my life is complicated enough lately, so I am intentionally keeping my guitars simply. My super switches will remain in the draw!!

Oh, and no Floyd!!

I am not a guitar builder so curios what the wax is for and does it affect tones?
I would like to re-answer this question since I mis-understood it the first time. The wax in the pickup cover is to tighten things up between the pickup components and the cover to help prevent feedback.

That does look nice, Mr Tuners - the lacquer just brings out the grain and looks so good. I really am not sure why on any half decent bit of wood anybody would want to paint opaquely over it...
