I just searched birdseye guitar body on ebay. They got great reviews and the piece speaks for itself!

Not sure yet. Maple with rosewood FB? All rosewood (but I really do not like the feel)? Roasted maple (that sounds good, no)? Match it with birdseye maple? What do you think?

I just received a built to order neck from Warmoth yesterday that I selected Purple Heart for the fret board. If you like the feel of ebony, PH is just as smooth and tight grained. I am throughly impressed by it. I’ll be doing a few PH fretboard builds in the future.
