Bedroom Amp...

...do any of you actually play your guitar with and amp in the bedroom?

Our bedroom is for other things and my wife would not have an amp and guitar in there...

I have a small office for that or I can take the amp up to the loft.

While I do have at my disposal an old 5w Fender. It’s still loud enough to get me in trouble. My practice amp is a Boss GT-1 multi effect into a set of headphone. Playing thru an amp is way more fun, but this keeps me out of trouble.

No amp anymore....long ago...it was different...many songs were written over morning coffee...no complaints about it either.
I do have a banjo hanging on a wall in the bedroom now though...

Nah! It’s not like that:D....it’s an ancient banjo that belonged to an ancestor....
I don’t play it often, but I try to keep it playable.:dood:

Yeah, I actually do sometimes.

We sold our house a few years ago and moved into an apartment, losing more than half our space in the process. So every so often I pull out an amp and sit on the bed with ‘phones or even a practice amp using speakers.

I don't play with an amp in the bedroom. Actually, I rarely use an amp in the house. I use a processor with headphones for practicing. I can plug a music source, like my iPhone, into my processor and practice along any time - day or night - and not disturb anybody. Even then, I normally practice in a separate room in the house.

I may sit on the bed with the guitar unplugged to practice a little, however. Come to think of it, my Les Paul is in it's case right now in my bedroom.
