Good ones. Mine would be any classic rock altogether or any of that '90s heavy crap.If you could pick 3 singers, that would never be heard on the radio again...
mine would be:
Pat Benatar
Bob Seger
Britney Spears
I am so sick of hearing those songs over and over again.
Yesterday I went to the thrift store, and they were playing "hit me baby one more time"...
I'm going to puke.
It's what happens when all the bands, singer/songwriters that we listened to as kids have sold their catalogs. And I don't blame them one bit. I say get all you can. Their estates will be way better for it.I find it interesting that a lot of classic rock songs are now jingles in commercials.
I can tolerate some of Pat and Neil's rockers. Not the one below. If you could pick 3 singers, that would never be heard on the radio again...
mine would be:
Pat Benatar
Bob Seger
Britney Spears
She lost me here. Not good.Pat Benatar? Who is She? It's first time I hear this name. Do she sing this? OMG!

Well…… you hit it with your best shot.
He may not be able to slide across the stage. But he can still play and sing. Something Daltrey can no longer do. He pretty much destroyed his voice.Once you’ve seen the high energy bands (The Who, Led Zep, etc.) in their prime, there is no going back. If Pete could still slide across the stage on his knees (and get up again,) I’d go to see that.
Thing about her compared to my previous comment on Daltry. She was classically trained. She learned the proper way to sing and to take care of her voice. I’m sure she’s had to bring the key down and may not be able to hit some of the high notes. She’s 70 and still sounds good. Here's a little bit from Austin City Limits a few months back.
Personally, my attitude is if she can still sing the songs (even if she has to lower the key), she has a fan base who wants to see her, and she wants to do it....go for it!
I never really followed her stuff, and I haven't compared this video with her original releases to know if she's lowered the key here, but she seems to be doing a respectable job and the crowd seems to enjoy it.
(As a side note, Neil isn't holding back with that Bigsby on his Les Pauls. I'm guessing he's got quite the decent setup on them!)
