This one won't turn your stomach quite as much as the last one... I assure you I made up all the questions and they are coming up randomized.

For Bro Battle Number Four, two somewhat respected TTR mods, @iblive and @Thatbastarddon
are going head to head at a VERY special task.

Shelter Skelter!

They have been chosen to pick a suitable doggo companion, and reliably teach it ONE trick before
gifting it over to YOU, (or your family if you have one).

This question/answer is not sick or twisted (unless they choose to make it so), and is going to be a bit more difficult, as the choice of a canine companion is very very personal for us all.

That's what's gonna make it fun!

I look forward to which dog and trick our Bros come up with, and how many votes they can each muster with their wonderful choices!

Poll ends after 24 hours, unless the vote is tied.

Uh oh...you knew it had to happen one way or the other, but we got two moderators goin' at it!

(I'll try to keep them settled down behind the scenes!)

I may just have to recuse myself from this one....

.....

...Nah! Just kidding!

"They have been chosen to pick a suitable doggo companion, and reliably teach it ONE trick before gifting it over to YOU, (or your family if you have one)."

First thing that comes to mind as a foody would be:

Companion would be a Viszla as they exhibit a touch of doggo intelligence and known as Velcro Dogs. Trick would be how to make me an adult beverage we discovered whilst vacationing on St. Thomas. That cocktail would be a Pain Killer to accompany my Fish Tacos on Taco Tuesday. Tis an exotic concoction of Pusser's Dark Rum, orange and pineapple juice, creme of coconut with a bit of freshly grated nutmeg over the top and rim of glass.

@Far Rider interested to know what trick you've been able to teach to a cat.

@iblive, dog seems cool if a bit "sheddy." Your exotic painkiller concoction sounds like something I might enjoy maybe once or twice a year.
@Thatbastarddon housebroken is the bare minimum required, but very important. But that dog? I think maybe I'd rather have a hamster.

You fellas are not making this easy. But that's fun too!

I've taught them to pester me at least twice a day for food.

Oh wait...

I was not going to post this…because of the extra cheese riddled joke…
But wow!!! That SG special!!! And all that Kustom tuck-n-roll!!!

Tough one. I see iblive passing quality time doing this type of thing, while I see Don sitting programming his drum MIDI very irritated by the fact that he's been recruited for this mission. He wants to ban the dog but he can't.

iblive seems very traditional and old school and the type that would expect me to be excited that he taught the dog to get a bone. I mean, come on. Don would be edgy and maybe teach him how to take out the garbage or clean up the studio area for him or snag the old copy of Cheri magazine to read up on some vintage comics. I could also see Don setting up an easy contraption so that the dog could do something simple to trigger coffee being made for him in the morning. Don would definitely be "service orientated" I believe.

Problem is I think the dog's skills may still be only half baked by the time I get the dog from Don. iblive would have it down so well he'd be amusing himself with the trick for days before I even got the dog.

Again, tough call but I think iblive may deliver a more "conditioned" pup in relation to the assigned task. Some of my decision was also based in Don's statement that he's really not into dogs as well. It's a handful I know ..and I actually completely understand that.

iblive this time. (y)

Again, tough call but I think iblive may deliver a more "conditioned" pup, especially it not having to face that scary Godzillia figure in Don's basement. Lol.
