Something that I have noticed over the years....Look at this guy:

Guitar: 1984 Aria Pro II - Saw several on Reverb this morning for between $325.00 and $650.00 - that's original 1980's MIJ instruments. Judging by the 20% extra free Heineken can on the drum riser, Cliff clearly had an eye for value, but the point here is basic equipment got phenomenal results....

I'm a nobody, Man...really...but I get messages and e-mails asking about the equipment used on some of my recordings. When I tell people (who ask) that Ace Of Spades was recorded on a $60.00 Craigslist Ibanez Import Bass, a Fender Rumble 40 Direct Out and a 1987 Arion Metal Master Pedal, they just fade away...

Now, I am not a bass player in the sense that i cannot do the Steve Harris multi-finger gallop, but I can get by when the bass player is sick, or a bassist is needed for a given project.

Haha Robert. I was just about to ask ESG about Cliff's bass, but you answered it. As a side note, Arai motorcycle helmets cost more than $325 to $650 nowadays. I too, took notice of the 20% extra Heineken. HAHA and I prefer more ounces,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I buy my drink of choice by the gallon. Milk HAHA
