Attention Vette Lovers

Here you go Robert...

I always preferred the Mustang snd still do. Not a copy. Original. Everything GM is doing the Italians have been doing for years. And ive beaten faster, more powerful cars around Laguna Seca with a slower car...keep in mind i taught driving for The Lamborghini Academy, so i do have something to compare this too....

My neighbor couldn't wait for me to drive hos3 Z06. I did not walk away impressed. It dodnt strike me as fast. It had horrible handling and brake anomalies...But, for those who dig them, far out!!!! But, every car i see, or are asked to drive just doesn't "wow" me.

I love the looks of a SEXY LAMBO, but when the Street Outlaws Dung Beetle (VW) just WAXES a brand new 200k Lambo and leaves him like he is tied to a STUMP , I am not much of a fan of this pricey piece of carbon fiber...
But thats just 1/4 mile...

Not many roads here in the US will allow that Lambo to really breathe or its fancy counterparts..

He seems easily impressed. I guess ive spent too much time in Italian cars to find it imteresting. He's great at marketing though.

I think a lot of people are excited because of what they cost. Factor that in and it's tough not to like what Chevy is doing for a lot of enthusiasts.

I've been a fan of Porsche since I was old enough to know what they are. I don't drive one anymore (my wife still does though) but if I ever decided to return to a sports car it would be a Porsche. They have all the performance I personally could ever need, and are as easy to drive daily and maintain as a Honda Civic. Best of both worlds for someone like me.

No animation here...These so called supercars are just SLOW for the $ they pay..
For a lil DUNG to make them hang their head in SHAME...:pound-hand:

But they sure are PERTY cars to look at..

Meh. You could tune anything to go fast for a short distance in a straight line, which isn't a test of the overall performance of a car. Put it up against them on a real racetrack and we'll see what happens.

I do think though for the big $’s they charge for these supercars should @ least be able to beat all of our good ole american muscle, especially when a lil Dung Beetle can WAX it...

But yes, I agree with you..on a track they would not even make the first turn on a track...I had a Countach for a year and loved that car....
One of the most fun cars to run from the ole fuzz...
Go around one corner and the fuzz are no place to be seen, just can’t outrun the MOTOROLA..:pound-hand::pound-hand:

Agreed. I went through a Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini phase...
