Attention Vette Lovers

I do think though for the big $’s they charge for these supercars should @ least be able to beat all of our good ole american muscle, especially when a lil Dung Beetle can WAX it...

But yes, I agree with you..on a track they would not even make the first turn on a track...I had a Countach for a year and loved that car....
One of the most fun cars to run from the ole fuzz...
Go around one corner and the fuzz are no place to be seen, just can’t outrun the MOTOROLA..:pound-hand::pound-hand:

I got close...

I've been North of 200 a few times....

I've been to 140 MPH a few times at Willow Springs big track. Being able to go full bore on a closed track relieved my need for speed and temptation to street race. When people try to rev at me now, I just tell them to meet me at the track and bring lots of cash. Between entry fees, fuel and tires, a day at the track costs me $500. If they are not prepared to cover my expenses and time, I do not feel obligated to show them my tail lights :p

Aside from periodic foolishness, I never got involved in street racing...I once held competition licenses in three different sanctioning bodies...
