Don, they are a very high output humbucker designed to drive a tube amp really hard. They are something like 17kΩ bridge and 10kΩ IIRC...
Ok, they are going to be hotter than the BK Nailbombs I put in Black on Wue which where 16K and 9K.

All of my guitars make great E flat guitars.
Including my Gibson guitars.

To serve as my backup #2, it needs a tone more output than those Epiphone pickups I installed in it....and I prefer the openness of an uncovered pickup...
I did...I'd hate to shield that!!!!
How did you accomplish that?I did...continuity from one end to the other.

Continuity from one end to the other.
How did you accomplish that?
The contact with the switch and the pots to the foil?
I am really interested in this and just ordered some 22/4 shielded stranded wire to re do the switch run on my AXL LP that is still a bit noisy.
As best as humanly possible. Long strips from the switch cavity to the neck / middle pickup cavity. But did you shield all 4 corners of the switch channel 360° around with long, continuous strips of copper????

Same for the control cavity to the bridge / middle.
Thanks, Guys....I also have the correct gold keystone Grovers to replace the kidney beans.
Then go with gold pickup covers too - black and gold is classic for a custom...
I agree it looks best, but the pickups sound so much more airy and open uncovered....
In that case, zebras do look great too, the black suits and the cream is nearly gold.
I will kick it around a bit before I buy them...
