Nope, no jointer. One trick I saw for the planer if the wood is cupped is to use blue tape along the outer edges to support the cupped out side while planing the other side. I gots lots to learn.My comments are strictly from a luthier standpoint. For general woodworking, it is a very useful tool. Do you have a jointer? My understanding is you need a true surface to work with when feeding the planer.
