I got nuttin honey
Lol, I have been avoiding this thing after hearing Mouse and Jethro's tracks. But I'll warm up the old DAW tomorrow and throw some old man slop at it.Who's got something interesting cookin' on the DAW stove, baby?

I have a basic drum track built for "Can't get U Outta my head" now.
I'm wondering if I should do a more aggressive bass or more true to the original.
Maybe I'll get hat down this weekend, but I have in-laws visiting from afar, and
a BBQ dinner party in the planning stages if the weather holds. Steak on the grill
probably asparagus, baked tater, etc.
I think I know how I want the "KERRANG" to sound though,
and the vocals, or voice noises, more accurate description of what I can do.
Try to resist dancing when it drops. And, you probably won't get it
out of your head, if I do my job right.

But you got an awesome profile pic with an Explorer!I might have a little bit of old man slop, but I have no DAW
And in reality, no talent, lol
That was a long time ago, my avatar pictureBut you got an awesome profile pic with an Explorer!
I had an Explorer reissue around 1977. Huge neck, huge sound. But I didn't keep it long. That was a long time ago, my avatar picture
I had sold my 76 back in 84, I bought another one in 2018 the sold it about 2 years later.I had an Explorer reissue around 1977. Huge neck, huge sound. But I didn't keep it long.
OK, here's my cheesy trick challenge. I don't have the licks like Mouse so I just threw a bunch of slop at the wall and yes, I cheated with multi tracks lololol. It goes something like this: Reverse dive, finger swipe, bottleneck slide down, harmonic dive, plucking harmonics, the first pulloff I ever learned, squawky knuckle harmonics, quasi-chicken pickin, metal fingerpick taps, bomb, fret/pick slide, some ascending notes but doesn't really count as a trick? I tried a detune/tune riff but it's not real audible, and then just some more slop.
Seriously. The mice will always win that battle. Especially when they can pull off all that high speed harmonic scales like the Big Mouse. That was very cool! I really enjoyed that.
Personally I don’t think it’s fair you have to challenge a mouse to a cheese duel though
Enjoy the family time!I'll set up a vote later tonight... got in-laws visiting rn.. but that was pretty cool @Oldiemurphy

OK, this makes me think of what might have happened if Jeff Beck's version of Superstition was filtered through Angelo Badalamenti's Twin Peaks soundtrack.OK, here's my cheesy trick challenge. It goes something like this: Reverse dive, finger swipe, bottleneck slide down, harmonic dive, plucking harmonics, the first pulloff I ever learned, regular slide, squawky knuckle harmonics, quasi-chicken pickin, metal fingerpick taps, bomb, fret/pick slide, some ascending notes but doesn't really count as a trick? I tried a detune/tune riff but it's not real audible, and then just some more slop.
EDIT: Ahhh, I scrolled back and saw that we're supposed to give a number. I will say 12.
That is probably the nicest guitar compliment I have ever received. Thank you, Erica.OK, this makes me think of what might have happened if Jeff Beck's version of Superstitious was filtered through Angelo Badalamenti's Twin Peaks soundtrack.
That is pretty cool imo.
I’m suspicious of his left hand …Voted on the duel. As usual these days.... both were excellent and tough to pick one over the other.
Side note. The "Poll Vote Link" GIF ........ is it just my damaged brain that finds the guy depicted in the GIF creepy?
