Less than eleven hours before the Main Event Chapter 007 Community Vote begins.
I think as it stands this morning we eight killer spy themes to weigh & measure, but field agents suspect possibly a couple more last-minute dramatic-types to dive under the wire before the 7:30 PM deadline.
I've been rehabbing it pretty steady @Aynirar27 - thanks for askin'! Stretches, weights.
Still having some trouble sleeping as it's the side I sleep on, but I'm back on the bike,
and can do most things normal. Pounding holes in leather hurts a bit, getting better.
Wincing in pain a little less every day, except when I look in the mirror!
I anticipate at the current rate ten more days, good as it ever was. Played
some campfire guitar over the weekend, though we couldn't have a campfire, due to
fire ban restrictions. Very smoky up here for past week. Forest fires all around me
but nothing scary within a fifty miles or so.
Less than two hours remain to get your Spy Themes posted my brothers!
@Ku² I loved your piece by the way, but I reserve making too much comment on
pieces that come in close to deadline. Is that bongino in the background? LOL!

@Ku² I had a pretty bad spill on my mountain bike maybe two weeks ago?
Took it on the right shoulder, for about four days my right arm was a no-go situation
I was going too fast, something came up sudden, and required evasive action.
Too bad I didn't take the fall on my head, nothing to damage up there
"close to deadline" yes, I don't want to colour the vote for the most recent submission so close
to the vote. Not fair. If you want more comment, get in earlier! But I liked it man!

Awe, sheeeit, that's crazy! Glad you're okay.
Anyone out there get Crowdsrike'd? (There's been an update on my PC for the last three weeks or so and I've been avoiding it.
Don't know sh-- about computers, so, I'd be BONED if it hit me).
I injured my neck a little over a week ago at work. It’s not a good story. They let me take it easy for the rest of the week but it scared me not knowing if it was going cause other problems. It seems better now. Icy hot and Alive.

It's time to vote for the top RiffMasters Main Event
Round 007 "Spy Game" submissions!
Gotta comment on what an amazing variety of approaches to the problem and congratulate all submitters for a busy, but superbly musically flavorful round. Such happy news to hear new
TTR members laying it out there bringing our forum some VERY COOL NEW LISTENING!
Overall, this was no easy task. Seeing so many tackle it fearlessly, with creative success makes me glow a little inside. You are helping fulfill the original lofty goal of this adventure like ducks take to water, and it seems you're also having a good amount of fun doing it, while advancing your technical skills a little too. I know I am!
All TTR members watching and competitors are asked to review the following submissions, and choose the best cuts. All TTR Members have minimum 3, maximum 8 votes to cast. Since the challenge was to "Craft a compelling
musical intro theme for a "Spy drama" opening title sequence," a good rule of thumb for judging, would be... "Draw Power"
ie. which themes are more likely to hook YOU into settling in to watch the program, as LE2K recently
mentioned. Setting the mood for the thriller to come should be a prime factor. However, musicality, creativity, scoring, use of sound effects, pacing, general dramatic intensity and dynamics are also factors to consider.
Handsomeness or physical attractiveness of the creators should NOT be considered, as that would put certain competitors such as Liveevil2000, Randy Van Malmsteen and frosty2 at an extreme disadvantage or advantage.
Extra points (2) will be awarded for minimum 2 sound effects, and two more if you edited and uploaded yourself. As far as I recall, only Frosty and Oldmurph required help to match their music to video and upload. There were two spy show intros to choose from, one more old school-ish, the other more modern.
Below are the chosen submissions in order of posting. Many RiffMasters made music for both spy theme credit roll versions for two bonus points, but were asked to choose the one they felt best to submit for judgementification.
The link to vote is at the end after the selections. Sorry, some i could not embed proper, or I plain don't know how to but the link is there to quickly get to every submission, still pretty easy to get to and absolutely worth the click.
Brew some popcorn and settle in for some major high stakes drama, folks!
Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to... GO VOTE >> RIGHT HERE << LINKY
You have to place all votes at once, you cannot go back to add more later.
Top vote earns 10 points, second and third place get 7 each.
In the event of a tie the earlier submission takes precedent
and bumps the other back.
