At first glance at your pic I thought your mic stand was a fishing pole. I immediately thought you was gettin' you catfish blues on fishin' out south ah da 'ol north east plantation off 69 at Highway 61 in Tupelo.
This is going to be Lame. I coulda just sung it an octave lower but here it is with covid cracks and throat clearing etc. Possibly shouldn't have yelled so much yesterday at the football game. My worst singing ever...

I did take liberties with some of the lyrics just to make it more entertaining for me.

I posted it, not sure it was in time.
I worked all weekend and past weekends trying to make it work and it's really not done. I listened in the car last night on the way to work and in the car I can here what I can not hear in the headphones.
I got home a little late this morning and went to sleep.
Lots of great entries! @Randy Van Malmsteen , @iblive , @Thatbastarddon@ibmorjamn .. some really good stuff in here! Makes me want to do a blues one just for fun in addition to that video I posted way back.
Nice to hear @iblive rockin it out!
Cheers all

I used the Godin with the Piezo - synth. So the acoustic tracks panned LnR are the synth with 12 string acoustic plus the piezo acoustic straight in. Can cover 2 tracks at once. The rest I used same guitar with the little Boss IR2 pedal, it sounds amazing. Bass direct in, drums were a loaded track for the song.
Wow stanley cup game on, my satellite signal is fritzing out, And you guys have last minute entries LOL thanks fellas.
OK after a bit more than 5 weeks, RiffMasters Main Event Round Six is nearing a close.
Some great things came out of this round with Bloozman and Wild,Wild West side hustles and a rather polarizing Main Event.
We also welcomed two more new TTR members as contributing artists to RiffMasters in formidible talents @frostyjr2 and @Mouse
To complete Round Six and allow us to move on it is now time for us to vote and decide who the victors are this Main Event Challenge.
Your challenge for Main Event #6 was to:
Choose any #1 billboard pop hit song from the 1980’s and redo it for us, any way you wish. Cover it faithfully, flavour it up,
do what thou whilst, but above all hoist up your creative freak flag for all to see!
Above all, to remember: the ONLY shame in RiffMasters is... ... not submitting!
Round Four Main Event Scoring: 48 hour Community Poll Vote on submissions post deadline. Top Vote Earner = 10 points Second & Third Places = 7 points. Participation Award: All other competitors who make a Top 'O The Pops submission = 5 points
2 bonus pts ea. “Bravest” “Most 80’s Dance Mode” “Most Genre-Bending”
Below is the compilation of the submissions in order of them coming in. As per usual, in the event of a tied vote
the earlier submission will bump the later one down in the standings.
I invite ALL TTR MEMBERs, (not just Riffmaster competitors) to critically listen and vote.
To make it EXTRA fun, there will be 2 bonus points awarded for each of the following:
“Most Brave” cover
“Most “We Can Dance If We Wanoo” 80’s Danceable Mode ” cover
“Best Genre-Bending cover ” extreme twist ie: Dance House song -> Metal cover (etc.) These points will be awarded approx. 24 hrs. in the vote poll period.
UNFORTUNATELY I have asked four TTR members via PM to take this judging job on and nobody answered
back, so .... No bonus points will be awarded unless I can get an impartial judge before noon tomorrow.
THIS IS IS WHERE YOU GO TO VOTE
drop all at once, you cannot go back to add more.

"Eye of the Tiger" is tied with "Never Gonna Give You Up" at the top of the voting so far.
There are still many who have not voted, 25 hours left, so this is only a temporary thing.
Gunning for top place (now sharing second) are Billie Jean, RiffMasters, and frickin' Jessie's Girl.
It's like the MOST NIGHTMARISH 80's GREATIES
Hot Radio Countdown Weekend you could imagine in here!
Sorry folks I failed to secure a judge for the bonus points but maybe we will do some
separate polls this month to award the bonus points or something, IDK. Maybe fairest
just to let it be.
Congratulations to all who made the Round 6 deadline, NEW Main Event Challenge
coming at you like a bullet 'tween the eyes tomorrow night, it's gettin' real intense!
Gonna be hoppin' in here for the next five weeks, baby!
