Announcing... RiffMasters!

Not sure if this would qualify as Reggae or not, but it's what I've been working on. I was pretty done with it before I got to the vocals so it was a one time through thing. I guess every part was also, whatever. It was mostly gibberish anyway.
The good news is I am getting a bit more familiar with Audacity again and able to navigate better at least. Still having a blast :celebrate2:

Nice chinka chinka... !!

Taking first singing lesson this Tuesday at 59 !! Maybe want to learn this more than anything have ever tried due how much music i make.
You’ll do great. @Sapient started voice lessons a year or so ago and there is a most definite difference between then and now. Not suggesting it was weak to begin with…. But listen to his first posts when he started till now and the quality and range is stronger in every aspect. You won’t be disappointed. And you get my vote and admiration just attempting at our “advanced” age.

That was great!!
All that was missing was some sun, powdery white sand and the sound of the waves gently washing ashore.

Time grows short. Rock country, country rap, rock rap, all three.
There are a ton of musical references out there. Get some inspiration from the internet. You tube is full of stuff.
Have fun with it.
If a no talent hack like me can do it, ANYONE can!

What pool.. :D

Good , 10 for very small splash !

Fellas, my wife Robin and I celebrate 30 years of marital bliss this month (mostly a testament to her patience and tolerance), so we are jetting off for a sun & sand getaway here shortly, something we haven't done for, well... thirty years. I believe the joint has wifi and all that. But I'm not much a traveler, so rather unwise in the modern ways of this. I do hope to be able to
keep in touch, but obviously I will be trying to stay "in the moment' with the love of my life, rubbing the lotion on her skin,
chasing off pesky timeshare salespeople etc.

RiffMasters cheerleading, maintenance etc. will be now left in the trusty, capable hands of co-pilot LiveeviL2000, for updates to scores, who done what, and trying to keeping all you funky monkeys from chucking to much stinky poo at each other, etc. LOL!!

HOWEVER, to distract you from trouble, I wanted to leave you guys with something super fun to chew on musically, while you picture me relaxing under a swaying palm tree enjoying a cool cerveza or two near a beckoning surf.

The bonus challenge lined up for this round worth is worth another two, or three points, depending on how you go it. I was going to drop this when I got back, but I figure more time is better for everyone. This round's side hustle is again
designed to stretch your musical and rhythmic muscles just a little bit further! May seem simplistic, but it's not at all as easy as you might think. In fact, I'll bet only half of you dare to try this one, I hope you prove me wrong.

This side quest demands ally you bredren faithfully cover any traditional or modern Reggae tune, for de two points.
If you be ambitious to try for all dem TREE points, you must create your OWN reggae tune from de scratch, or, cover any
NON-Reggae tune of dat you wish, mon... but somehow be it you to convert dat one in full reggae style, which to show big respect and muchly tanks to Jah Jah.

There is a two minute submission minimum (2:00) on this one, and your entry has to be in before Main Event
Chapter 3 voting is over, only one extra entry allowed. No voting on this. Just do it faithfully, for the points.
I read the part where you went on a Anniversary vacation. I missed the Reggae part. Well that is a challenge.

Thanks lblive. The hardest part was and still is getting precise pitch. I still have to warm up a while to even get on for the most part. He will do fine but will probably have to practice a lot like most of us I presume. I'll never be "that singer" but if I can get it to work for recording and certain situations I'm good with it. I don't see any Freddy Mercury in me in the near or distant future, that is for sure.
