Announcing... RiffMasters!

Also there is an app you can use on your iPhone called Multitrack. I believe Don told me about it a while ago. It’s super simple to use. All you need is an iRig or an interface and a cable that goes from USB to whatever connection your iPhone takes.
Here is the link.

Contrary to what @mcblink might say, I am not COVID to the core but METAL TO THE CORE!!!

I have finished my head to head challenge with @Clockworkmike and it is being rendered as we speak. I will not let some bull:poo: virus stop me from rocking out!
I will allow my challenger to post first, since he was gracious enough to curse me with the weakest part of my playing ability.

@Mitch Pearrow SJMP I'd love to see if we can put our collective heads together to see if we can't help you work through, if you want to have a go at " I'd Top That" ... is your phone device your ONLY internet access in your home? No wifi, Roku or Smart speaker? Do you have any alternate means of recording audio other than your phone? Anyone with ideas chime in?

My iPhone is my only device.. with a little help, from my grandson,, I will hook his phone to the backing track, through my Bluetooth speaker, and get one in.. crossing my fingers.

I was just wondering yesterday about the strategy mechanics of dueling, whether better to post first or fast as challenger or challenged. Waiting to see what you are up against vs throwing in fast to put your opponent on his heels. Or take it to the deadline, wait it out. I think I should clarify a reply has at least 24 hrs to post after the first shot is fired, but max. ten days for first post seems ideal, from the challenger. If they fail to, might as well just move to Antarctica or something

I'm even wondering now if a single point is a wise move, it very well could put me out of the running for a "money duel" next round. But it was hella big fun!

There are going to be several game subtleties revealing themselves as we go. I also some surprises planned too, as you all might expect.

As I understand it, GB is very powerful and full-featured.

Apple makes their stuff pretty intuitive. So if you already have the necessary tools onboard, why not make this the time to take advantage and get to know it? Laying one track on another is about as easy as it gets. If you need the mp3 of the backing track pm me your email.

I see anyone with a youtube chan can access YouTube Create online editor seems like you can maje videos by uploading multiple layers of audio and video, all online and it looks free too. You can use a still pic for a video, and just have the audio under.

Haven't looked too deep into the youtube thing probably more complex but.. it will easily upload to an account you can link to so we can all enjoy...
There is a free source called Moavi that will do the same it's a montage video.
Lots of youtube how to's.
Pretty much anything you want to do can be done on youtube. From making carbon fiber to a knife made out of had full of drill bits. Lol

I think the structure is good. Besides , it's all in fun. That is the thing we should remember. That and bringing up your skill level in many aspects including recording.
When I was younger , the only recording device I had was a cheap radio shack type cassete with push buttons to record.
The challenges should also bring up technique levels and break down some barriers.

Alright, im stupid to recording and @Ramo used to hate working with me over this fact but, here's something. I sounclouded it and forgot to trim the last minute and a half or so lol so it ends for me around 3:05ish

I told @LiveeviL2000 to post first since i challenged him but he fought me over it lol anyways, hope you feel better soon my friend! (by the way, he did this sick so he deserves the win as far as im concerned : THATS A TROOPER!!)

PS: there is indeed at least 30secs of tapping in here but for the love of God I am NOT a tapper lol barely can play a solo: always hid out in the rhythm!

The showdown is finally here!!!

**WARNING**

The Surgeon General has determined that the lead guitar cheese you are about to hear may cause some adverse side effects. Such as vomiting, anal leakage, bleeding from the eyes nose and ears, suicidal thoughts, nightmares, thoughts of abandoning guitar playing all together, and in rare cases the urge to wear spandex.
You have been warned!
I would normally do a video, but I just wasn’t up for it this time.

Here is what was used in the making of this travesty.
BC Rich Kerry King Warlock
Line 6 HX Stomp
Scarlett 2i2 interface
Reaper DAW

Your finger tapping is way better than mine hands down.
