Announcing... RiffMasters!

"Judge and Jury, the defendant claims those weird ideas resulting in his arrest come from Mr. TVvoodoo, we now ask TVvoodoo to the stand for questioning."
"Do you swear to tell the truth... etc" "I do"
"Mr. Voodoo, is what @LiveeviL2000 asserts the actual case, that all those extremely weird ideas and deviant behaviors originate from YOU!??!"

Can I still claim temporary insanit.... actually no. Permanent insanity? I can prove it @iblive can be a character witness.

Last night , I was in to the song deep.
Changed the drums. The drum track had double bass but it was to much. I couldn't slow it down enough to make it right so I chucked that track.
I put a vocal track on it but just to see where the issue would be. It sort of worked.
I recorded from the EVH 5150 lll LBX in to a SM57 in to Volt 476.
It is close. I want to reveal it in the other thread but it's not ready.
Bass line today.
Lord help me on video ideas.

You're not going let that one go are you?;):run:

Truth be told. Those of us that have chosen the guitar as our instrument are all a little touched. It is an imperfect instrument. Lets just take the note Middle C. A piano, trombone, trumpet.... etc only has one Middle C. How many ways can you play a Middle C on a guitar? (PS: I checked. It can be played on 5 of the 6 strings) And then there's that whole intonation thing. One can make themselves crazy trying to make it perfect..... and it never is. I remember reading in a thread where Robert described how he set the intonation. Besides open string and 12th fret.... he'd check it at a couple other frets, like 5th and 7th as well as 12th. And that's just two examples.

So at the end of the day, every one of us is just one step short of the asylum.

Disclaimer: I.M.H.O. As always.... your results may vary.

1) ask @Clockworkmike , once I latch on to something I can rib you about, I’m like a pitbull with a milkbone in his mouth. I can’t let it go.
2) I’m guessing the high E can’t do a middle C??
3) one step short of the asylum? I’ve touched that step many a time, and managed to escape every time.

1) I'll keep that in mind next I think about dissing you..... yeah right. Not a chance.
2) "A Guitarist can play the middle C on five of their six guitar strings. The middle C is located on the twentieth fret of the 6th string, the fifteenth fret of the 5th string, the tenth fret of the 4th string, the fifth fret of the 3rd string, and the first fret of the 2nd string."

So I was right! My reasoning was, the high E couldnt do it because the low E could. There is probably a better more technical reason than that. Still an interesting bit of info.

Yeah @iblive , @LiveeviL2000 is from the land of The Sopranos, so he can ball-break with the very best of them lmao

1 forward 2 back. My critic was not liking the drum riff that had temporarly solved my issues.

Back to the Double kick track. I modified it.
I think if I import it in to Audacity, I might be able to fix it.

By slowing it down it seems like it made the measures take longer and there for not fit the song. Lots of air time ? More
Solo's ?
I need to pay attention where I'm posting.

Ok, here's my version of a folk submission. Another original. It's called:

Pusse-y Willow:

Out on the street and you don't know what to do
Pick pickle in your pocket that's taking over you
1:45 and the bars are closing soon

But with a hop skip jump you can still get in the one by you
Where there's a pickin of the pusse-y you can take out home with you

Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y that's good for you
Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y Willow she's tried and true
Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y that's good for you
Pick pick that pusse-y then pick a dingle berry or two

So you picked that pusse-y named Willow now you think she's a bitch
You lost $200 but you gained the Sunday itch
Won't tell your friend cause you know that he's a snitch

You burned through your paycheck like that burning in your dick
You pick pick picked some pusse-y that now has got you sick

Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y that's good for you
Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y Willow she's tried and true
Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y that's good for you
Pick pick that pusse-y then pick a dingle berry or two

Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y that's good for you
Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y Willow she's tried and true
Pick pick pick pick that pusse-y that's good for you
Pick pick that pusse-y then pick a dingle berry or two

Enjoy the ..pickings!!
