The way I see it is this.
To me, the points are cool, but I really don’t care. I love the competitive nature of this game, and recognize it for what it is. It’s all in fun and gets us motivated to use our cool toys in a creative manner.
Skewing the vote is unsportsmanlike and goes against the spirit of the vote.
If it matters that much then by all means delete the voters … unless they voted for me, then they are probably legit!
Also,
I’d like to think we all vote based on the merit of what was submitted and not some kind of popularity contest.
I know what you are all thinking, “but that LiveeviL guy is devilishly charismatic and the most talented being in the known cosmos! What chance do we have against a metal god like that.”
To that I say … I really don’t know what you are thinking. It’s a dream I have that makes me sleep better at night.

Alright RiffMasters - I was cooking dinner (sweet and sour pork chops with chunky pineapple sauce and basmati rice, with fresh broccoli)
when I thought to myself "Man, I'm the one always talking about points being dumb and unimportant, and here I am getting all frick'n'
wound up with ridiculous competitive spirit!
BAD GameMaster, BAD!!! BAD!!! BAD!!!!"
Then I log back in to see what @LiveeviL2000 said, which reinforced to me again
RiffMasters is really about the music, camraderie and the fun...
not the damn points, or trying to be better than the next guy, except for silly fake posturing,
and ego serving to keep it a little interesting.
I'd just rather see less questionable voting murkiness. I'm the only one who can see who voted where and when.
It'd be wrong of me get further into it, so I'm just going to ignore it, other than put it out there for all of the rest
of my forum roomies with 100% sincerity overall it did not affect the final points outcome anyway, to any great extent.
If there were any irregularities, lets just say when you register to vote, please be a member of TTR first,
and register to vote on StrawPoll with a handle that's recognizable to all TTR members, or similar please.
So, Main Event Round 007 ends up at a tie at nine votes, first place. Since "Cloak 'n Dagger" preceded "Agent 000.1" by quite a lot, @Ku² s super
cool spy in the garage piece gets shunted to second place for seven. Jethro's "Spy Bass-ics" tied with LiveEvil2000's "Modern" in third at 7 points,
but he was first in, so he bumps LE2k out of the sevens, into five with everyone else gets 5 well earned points, and honestly, I don't know if I believe
these results overall. Two rather masterfully-orchestrated pieces kind of got shafted in my opinion, but I guess the tribe has spoken. Personally, this
round was the most fun for me so far, except for this ending, kind of soured it.
But, thank you my fellow RiffMasters for the Gold medal, rather unexpectedly!
and EVERYBODY please congratulate to Ku and Jethro for completing the top three.
The rest of you... better luck over the next five weeks - it's gonna be STOOPID!
