I picked up these interdental brushes today for cleaning the tube sockets of my 12AX7s. They are 0.45mm and the cheapest ones in the shop ($3.75 for a pack of 10). They seem to fit the tube socket holes very nicely.

That's a great idea Dave. Have to have a look for some. I usually just hit the socket (pin clamps) with some electronics contact cleaner & insert the tube with a "round & round" circular action. Those look like they'd do a better job. Cheers
