The funny thing about this old Stratocaster is how effortless it is to play. On the SG, I really have to work at it to get notes to sound just right, but on the Stratocaster, it just seems to play itself.
That may be an indication that an SG just isn't for you. There's nothing wrong with that. That's sort of a "different strokes for different folks" thing.
Perhaps, building a Parts-caster to your liking is the way to go?
