TTR is my main go to forum now...It was ETSG. I still visit a ETSG and a several other forums briefly to learn about the guitar's I own. I scan the threads to see if there are any good technical or tricks of the trade type posts to read. My participation has become minimal in most other forums because of the cork sniffery and guitar snobbery. Squier Talk is the exception, folks are pretty down to earth there. I want to say that this forum is definitely unique and awesome because of everyone here!

What Sergio says....... I say. I also go to Pearl Drummers Forum, My Les Paul to research stuff I can find about Norlin LP's and any other thing I care to learn. I am a member at MarylandShooters, TalkBass, Rogers Owners forum, and a few other places.

As one can see, I guess I am not a ForumCorksniffer, but a contributor of positive input on all of them I frequent.
I have hopefully displayed 100% of this type of treatment to all members of all the fora I go to.

Hmmm... I still check out ETSG, MLP, a Tele, Strat and Squire forum as well as photography forum, a few car forums. Just because someone is a member here does not mean that they can't or shouldn't post elsewhere. If y'all like this forum better than another forum, cool, we are doing something right. When RVA, eSGEe and I first talked about making this place it was never suppose to be a pissing contest with any other forum. I personally don't need to belittle anyone else to feel better about myself. ETSG helped me to meet many fine people a lot of which are here now. I learned a lot from the old forum when it had a plethora of info about SG guitars. Posting on MLP for someone to make my guitar helped me to find Glenn that made my custom SG shaped, spalted maple topped guitar that I am absolutely in love with. I have no problem with either of these places. One of my old time car buddies from another car forum built www.sevenstring.org which I helped on the original graphics. That forum was also later purchased by Alex. Alex is trying to run a business and make some money and I say more power to him. I hope that we can all make some money and survive in this tough economy.

So for the preservation of free speech, I'm not gonna block, edit or ban what you say. I will ask that y'all try to help us keep this place a positive happy friendly place to be.

Well, said, Grant. That is what I like about being a positive influence. It carries beneficial rewards across all venues and for all but the nastiest of just troublemaker types.

OK now Chris... How about you shop around and find a nice new batch of smilie icons for me? Perhaps some with guitars and drums and tone related stuff.
