After some of the recent emails and PM's I've received, before this thread was written, I'm taking a look at things from a different perspective.
I've decided to share a PM publicly that I sent to
@RVA.
Again, if you say "_____ suck" then what are you basing that opinion on?
Even if you have 330 concert dates undet your belt, you can't justify that statement and nothing constructive can be taken from it.
Colonel Mustardr read my post (the same post that offended some) an "got it" in exactly the spirit in which I intended. (That tells me that perspective is the variable here.)
But all things happen for a reason.
You probably didnt read my post titled "things I didn't realize until tonight. "
You should.
As TTR has grown it has become more and more like other forums.
I've been spending far too much time writing and reading TRR posts and I believe it took these recent exchanges for me to realize this fact.
Aside from my recent posts about helping
@ninjaking67 with his setup questions, I truly believe that the most "meaningless opinions" are my own.
I been hitting TTR every morning, posting something I thought might be interesting.
I recently posted an original song (bad dog) that I've been writing and I get one response.
I share a dissenting opinion and I get 60+ replies.
There's a message in that, one that I have failed to receive.
I thank you for making me see this. I've been blind to it
I'm gonna step back. Play more. Post less.
May blessings and prosperity find you.
I'll respond to PM's regarding any setup questions or discussions, but I intend to greatly reduce my TTR time and devote that extra time to playing more and trying to complete original work for my yet unfinished CD. I believe this to be in the best interests of all.
May all your hopes and dreams come true...
