I'm liking a lot of what I am hearing from Ace...
Maybe as band research you should lock yourself in your office there-- with your guitar and the recordings of KISS and Mahogany Rush and Aerosmith and several others (Rush I think you listed) and listen to all of their works.......(if time is an issue -- focus on the 70's early 80's stuff only)
I would think a post Nuclear nomadic drifter WOULD have these tunes in his mental data log from his youth prior to the apocalypses and would effed from them for inspiration.....with , songs like this traversing his brain and ringing in his ear as he is trudging across the waste land.....
Well it was going to happen eventually.

He did say FRONT ROW Center ---- at the L.A. FORUM-- in Californication---- I am sure the Republic of Cali got about 15.00 of that in taxes.......safety fees--- argon gas refinery fee and pollution control fees....flame thrower usage fees.....etc etc -- oh and the Jerry Brown I want your $$$ because I said so fund....
$30 was stupid money for a concert back then. Most of the arena shows I saw in the mid '70's cost anywhere from $5 to $10 (Capital Centre in Largo, MD or Baltimore Civic Center). That was for huge bands like Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath, Foghat...

Just remember that this was 1975. Whole world was different. California was crazy back then, but not insane, like it is now... ha ha!$30 was stupid money for a concert back then.
