So -- more tweaks -- more fiddling with knobs--- I am surprised I havent melted or fried this thing

it REALLY likes the Panama Cab for DOOM metal--- I mean REALLY

Neat little "attenuation" mod Hack--- works like a champ!!!

still the CHUG in the Marshall is just so DEEP -- its like a whole 2 octaves below what the Mesa is putting out.......hhhmmmm.....

wonder if a different speaker in the mesa?

making it face the wall seems rude---- I dunno this thing takes a LOT of TLC --- and tweaker tweaking--- the Marshall I just turn on--- it gives me MARSHALL tone-- I play I turn it off---and -- as we all know I AM A SIMPLE MAN---

OHg for those at all interested there is not a single CLEAN sound out of the Mesa that isnt FRIGGIN UN BELIEVABLE --- cleans will blow your nards off --- hands down superior cleans to almost anything I own (the Lil Sexy is the clean KING-- before you ask--)
 
More time with the Boogie booger---and well----

I have tried it with all manner of geetar and pup that I have (though I really dont have any Stratish single coils---weird---) but I have tapped and coil split options in buckers -- and P-90's and MINHUMS --- and it friggin sounds GLORIOUS with all---

running into the panama cab gives me the Marshall CHUG I was searching for cleans are clean -- real spring reverb is a refreshing (had to get used to it) change---

the grits gritty-- the cleans are (yes) amazing--

the amp is so articulate and offers a huge---VAST if you will tonal spectrum---I just cant (after proper adult style investigation) find anything wrong with it--except it MIGHT be WAY TO LOUD-- but it offers a cool little "attenuation hack" online that allows full volume with reduced output so I can CRANK MY METALLICA chug tones--- but not piss off the neighbors or interfere with planes landing at the airport-----or even wake the Misses at O-Dark 30 in the Sunday A.M. ;)

Early Morning Sunday light filters into the doom room--- the MEsa Sits--- resting after a ROUSING morning romp with its HOT little Redheaded friend!
(note a small Marshall----Valvestate---still lurks--- for those times I NEED a Marshall fix!!!)

YOu see it nestled there in the Early Sunday dawn---- does it LOOK like its going anywhere???? the DSL is covertly stashed away till the final payment is made---but yes---the Mesa is now Boogieing around the Doom Room
I also discovered i can run it parallel with the Panama cab---for a 2x12 aural orgasm of musical pleasure---- well tonal pleasure--- the music i plays is horrible----
 
I have an UPDATE ladies and germs

there was a very disturbing issue-- the CLEAN channel had more "oomph" and power and balls---than the dirt channels-- this was troubling---

after much lurking about and asking hte collective BRAIN trust here at the TTR--- the problem of TUBES--- could be an issue-- so checked and sure enough "V-2" tube was loose -- and -- once replaced with a fresh 12ax7 -------- oh my --- OH MY --- OOOOHHHH MY!!!! the neighbors are in for some problems NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ITs got chug--scream-- dirt --clean -- and MOXY enough to slay small house plants----

yep-- its time to BOOGIE boys ;)
 
This is excellent news indeed. I was a but befuddled that your amp didnt have the chug you were looking for.
