Lol let's just say I was so outta place here. Everyone was cheering on every song, while I would nudge my wife and go " so uh, what @#$&in' song is this one?" And she'd grumble the name to me and I'd just reply " ah ok" and then sorta zone out and scan the crowd between disgust and laughter

Concert ended, wife hadn't drank any thing , so she drove us up to and back from the show ( i had begun to sober up about halfway thru the show, so about 9pm). On the way back to the hotel we stopped and grabbed a small pizza to take back to the room since it was after 11:30pm. Walk in, sit the box down on the dresser and I turn to sit my keys on the nightstand, turn back around within a couple seconds and there is TADA! A ROACH! Trying to already get to the pizza I just sat down. Chased it and found them behind the mini fridge. You can actually see a roach trap in the lower right corner in the video, so this has been going on a while.

Turns out this $312.50 a night Super 8 $hitbox is a roach joint too and that means we slept among them night 1 too. I told Meg to grab her gear, took everything we had in the room such as our luggage, opened it up and shook it all down checking for any hitchhikers. Loaded it up in the car, told the clerk what we found and called Expedia. At that point, I had been put thru enough and finally snapped, it was time to go home. It was 1am and I was entirely wide awake now and pissed.
We ended up driving 3hrs straight home this morning. Got in at about 4:15 am and literally fell asleep as soon as we sat down on the couch. I just now woke up about 10mins ago.
So yeah.... greatest weekend in my life lol

Absolutely! Dude, as tightly wound as I am on most issues, I'm actually easy going when it comes to being the guy who goes along with what others want to do even above my own wants. I do a lot of stuff I don't really like if it makes other people happy, especially the family first. I don't act like a stick in the mud and make the best of it. But man, this whole weekend was a nightmare lol seriously, I can't think of one thing that went right and driving home at 1am was just the chef's kiss on it all.
